I bought an iMac G5 before Christmas, and took the opportunity to sell and buy an Intel iMac 20 "in January. Form factor, functionality and aesthetics (w / built-in iSight camera and Front Row) is close to perfection . When I first saw 20 "iMac, I thought it looked great, but it seems very comfortable in our living room, and is very quiet. Photo Booth was also a great success with our two daughters and their friends. I have 5 accounts set up on a terrifying and 512 MB of RAM, it is still a big problem. RAM when prices fall enough, I will probably add another 1 gigabyte The only caveat is that more and more accounts created to share the iTunes folder and iPhoto is a bit 'complicated and is fairly easy to get' locked ', when another family member to stay connected with iTunes running. Furthermore, the transition to Intel has been surprisingly smooth. Rosetta is a miracle. My HP PSC 1210 multifunction printer is working. So if you're planning to make your stay with Adobe Creative Suite and Macromedia products (not Universal Binary), I would be an excellent choice for your home or small offices.
