This is my fourth Mac, upgrading from G4Cube. You can not beat a quiet operation of G4Cube, so I expect some noise. Not much at all about this Mac, which is why it is OK to put on the desk. Heck, it's only 6 inches by 6 inches by 2 inches high, and is a complete computer CD and DVD. My recommendation is to get 2 GB of RAM - when I was 1 GB, it was OK, but then I have 2 GB and Wowhee, this thing is so high it flies. My 2 GB of RAM is now my minimum recommendations on all PCs. I added a miniStacker II, which fits just below the drive for MacMini mucho extra hard drive (I digitize the video, so I need lots of space). Maybe I added too many times devices (USB speakers, Firewire HD, a Firewire HD, camera, cell phone, iPod) and kinda frozen. disconnect at boot solved the problem. The original Apple RAM died guarantee, but was replaced at no cost

Ok, first of all, I love apple and their products. I have the original Mac Mini 1.25 GHz G4 Motorola, and iPod nano, iPod Video and iPod touch. But let me tell you, this is the worst Apple product I ever bought. It constantly crash, even if all I have to update software. Apple has made a huge mistake to switch to Intel. Personally, I prefer my old for this.

I fell hard to write a review for this desire, because I never had a problem with an Apple product so far.

I bought a mini, so I could dedicate a 1 GHz eMac that I have used in their students. I connected to the existing Sony Trinitron (CRT) monitors, which I had stored away and bought a keyboard Mathias. I transferred my files from the eMac without problems. I updated the firmware, which was very well explained. Machine speed is performed at the age of software and built in RAM. I went to another world, Computer sites, watching the video that shows how to upgrade the memory and I are considering switching from a 256-megabyte Simms with 1GB of applications running on Rosetta, particularly MS Office stagnate. I am a Mac user for some time and teachers and in general are happy with this car. I wish it were streamlined.
